* The Holy Quran described the stages of man’s embryonic development and expressed that in very careful and meaningful terms before the anatomists were able to identify these stages long time ago. It states the stages of the creation of man as from Nutfah to Alaqah to mudghah to bones to flesh, including all of the other sophisticated processes of growing. Allah said:

“We created man from an extract of clay. Then We
made him as a drop in a place of settlement, firmly
fixed. Then We made the sperm-drop into a clinging
clot, and We made the clot into a lump [ of flesh ], and We made [from] the lump, bones, and We covered the Bones with flesh; then We developed him into another creation. So blessed is Allah, the best of the creators.”

(Quran, 23: 12-14)

Professor Keith L. Moore collected these facts in his book: The Developing human which is a scientific reference and has been translated into eight languages. It was chosen as the best book authored by one person. The professor says: “ It’s clear to me that these statements must have come to Mohammed from God, because almost all of this knowledge was not discovered until many centuries later. This proves to me that Mohammed must have been a messenger of God.”

* The information that the Holy Quran provided regarding details in the science of seas and oceans. It was stated in the Quran:

“He has let free the two seas meeting together. There is a barrier between them. They do not transgress.”
(Quran, 55:19-20)

where this scientists were unable to recognize the existence of the barrier where the two seas meet until recently using advanced equipment and technology. 

 * The Holy Quran describes the state of man when he reaches the high layers of the sky and the physiological changes that occur to him (i.e., difficulty of breathing. ) Allah says in the Quran:

“So whoever Allah wants to guide – He expands his breast to [ contain ] Islam; and whoever He wants to misguide – He makes his breast tight and constricted as though he were climbing into the sky...” (Quran 6:125)

Such meanings were recently yet to be discovered after the human was able to invade the space and realize what was stated in the Quranic fact.

* The Quran described the structure and function of the mountains. Allah said:

“And the mountains as stakes” (Quran 78:7)
“And at the mountains – how they are erected?” (Quran 88:19)
“And He has cast into the earth firmly set mountains, lest it shift with you...”
(Quran 16:15)

All of these descriptions were not known until recent time.

* The Holy Quran has described the cumulonimbus clouds and how they produce rain. One verse says:

“Do you not see that Allah drives clouds? Then
He brings them together; then He makes them
into a mass, and you see the rain emerge from
with in it.” (Quran 24:43)

All of what have been stated in this regard in the Quran was discovered recently after the advancement of the scientific research instruments.

* The Quran described the earth interior:

“Do you feel secure that He who [holds authority
in the heaven would not cause the earth to swallow
you and suddenly it would sway?” (Quran 67:16)

The constant swaying of the earth interior was not known by humanity until recent time when scientists verified this Quranic fact.

These are few of the miracles that are mentioned in the Quran 1400 years ago. Allah said:

“We will show them Our signs in the horizons
and within themselves until it becomes clear to
them that it is the truth. But is it not sufficient
concerning your Lord that He is, over all things,
a Witness? (Quran 41: 53)

“Then do they not reflect upon the Quran? If it
had been from [any] other than Allah, they would
have found within it much contradiction.”
(Quran 4:82)

There are more scientific miracles in the Sunnah of the prophet such as the Hadiths that he had narrated to his companions and were passed on until this day. As a matter of fact, some of the Hadiths pointed out some of the miracles that we mentioned separately and more of life issues to cover all of the aspects of life. Examples are:

• The reporting of the prophet about what good is the black cumin when he said: “The black cumin is a cure for every disease.” The attribute of the black cumin was scientifically proved to strengthen the immunity in the body, which returns on the person with healing for most of the diseases.

• The prophet threatened that if adultery appeared among certain people, and they approve it, other sexual diseases will spread through them, and that is actually what is happening today.

• The miraculous legislation in the Islamic law is presented through the Quranic verses and the Sunna of the Prophet (S.AA.S), and it includes different legislation for the acts of worship, dealings with others, ethics, etc. It is a universal system for all the aspects of life and it is suitable for every time and place. That is because it is the law of God, which cannot have the minimum error and dose not contradict with the benefits of all tpeople with their various classes or scientific and intellectual backgrounds in any given time or place.

There are a lot of people who could not find solutions for their various economic, political, ethical, and social problems except when they turned to Islam because Allah, who a vast knowledge of everything, is aware of his servants’ conditions in the course of time.
