It is no doubt that when you declare your Islam, especially when you start practicing it, you might face a lot of difficulties and lose a lot of customs and traditions, but when you are certain that there is an award waiting for you which is the eternal life in the paradise, all of these difficulties will vanish. For example, in the time of Moses – peace be upon him- the magicians of Pharaoh chose this award when the truth became clear to them, and they believed in Moses’ God. When Pharaoh threatened to punish them hardly in order turn them away from Moses’ religion, their answer was:

“They said, “Never will we prefer you over what
has come to us of clear proofs and [over] He who
created us. So decree whatever you are to decree.
You can only decree for this wordly life.” (Quran 20:72)

Yes! they said it even though they were of the closest to Pharaoh and they preferred to be punished in this world rather than continuing with their disbelief because they were certain that whatever felicity they get in this world, it dose not equal a single touch of the punishment in the Hereafter.

The same thing applies in the present time. Many people chose to have numerous difficulties when they embraced Islam in order to win the Paradise. Finally, when you recall the miracles and facts of the past that the Quran mentioned which have been proven by scientists in various fields of specialization, you must not forget that there are other facts mentioned in the same Quran and are going to take place in the future like: (I pray to Allah that you will not face the inevitable fate before you follow the religion of Islam) – when Allah’s said:

“And the Horn will be blown; and at once
from the graves to their Lord they will hasten.
They will say, “O woe to us! Who has raised us
up from our sleeping place?” [The reply will be],
“This is what Most Merciful had promised, and
the messengers told the truth. It will not be but
one blast, and at once they are all brought present
before Us. So today [i.e., the Day of Judgement] no
soul will be wronged at all, and you will not be
recompensed except for what you used to do.”
(Quran 36:51-54)

At that time, regretting will be useless. Allah said:

“And they will say, “If only we had been listening
or reasoning, we would not be among the compan-
ions of the Blaze. And they will admit their sin, so
[it is] alienation for the companions of the Blaze.”
(Quran 67:10-11)

Allah also said:

“If you could but see when the criminals are hanging
their heads before their Lord, [saying], “Our Lord,
we have seen and heard, so return us [ to the world];
we will work righteousness. Indeed, we are [now]
certain.” (Quran 32:12)

Because the ultimate proof is right in front of you as Allah said:

“[We sent] messengers as bringers of good tidings
and warners so that mankind will have no argument
against Allah after the messengers.” (Quran 4:165)

And It is the eternal end with no escape from it which is the Hellfire as Allah promised when he said:

“.. [Death] is not decreed for them so they may die,
nor will its torment be lightened for them. Thus do
We recompense every ungrateful.” (Quran 35:36)

Or should your control to your mind be the only separator for you to make your final decision without any wordly influences. Your end will be as described, that is to live in the Paradise forever and win what Allah has promised in the Holy Quran when he said:

“And they will say, “Praise to Allah, who fulfilled
for us His promise and made us inherit the earth
[so] we may settle in Paradise wherever we will.
And excellent is the reward of [righteous] workers.”
(Quran 39:74)

And when he said:

“And Paradise will be brought near to the righteous,
not far. [It will be said], “This is what you were promised
for every returnee [to Allah] and keeper [of His covenant]
Who feared the Most Merciful unseen and came with a heart
returning [in repentance]. Enter it in peace. This is the
Day of Eternity. They will have whatever they wish,
therein And with Us is more.” (Quran 50:31-35)

I pray to Allah that you acquire this end. If you are having trouble fully practicing Islam, then at least your embracement of Islam with conviction will ward you off the eternity in the Hellfire. Allah said:

“Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with
Him, but He forgives what is less than that for
whom He wills..” (Quran 4:48)

especially when there are a lot of people out there who are under obligation of good manners and uprightness and they do good deeds. They are only missing the embracement of Islam to be winners in this world and the Hereafter. Allah has invalidate all the other religions when he said:

“Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is
Islam” (Quran 3:19)

This does not mean that the other earlier religions were invalid at their times, and whoever believes so is considered to be a non-Muslim. One of the major terms of Islam is to believe in all of the messengers (peace be upon them) and that the last of the prophets is Mohammed who completed all previous missions.
